just curious
why is it that people always put the return pumps in the center of their sumps???

seems like the best way would be this order
(how i chose to set mine up)

skimmer stage - fuge - return stage

that way the water comes in and all of it goes thru the fuge section before being returned to main display.

I did mine skimmer-fuge-return, leaving the skimmer and return sections only as large as they had to be to allow the largest fuge.

So you can control the flow of water going through your refugium.

one more, you dont want your skimmer after the refugium. All youll do is skim out the critters from the fuge.
