I have been running a 55g, sumpless for the past year and a half. I just recently purchased a 20g sump / refugium and have several questions...
Should I separately cycle the sump as I did the display tank before it is connected to the dt or can I just mix the water and use live rock from the display? If I wanted to, could I add new live rock without waiting for the cycle?
Should i run the lights 24/7 or should they only run when the dt lights are off?
Should the skimmer be in the first chamber or in the refugium section with the sand and lights?
