sump size. question

I have a 14g tank. Question is can the sump be larger than my tank? 25g-30g sump would be ok?

yes it can and it is also much better for the tank. the bigger the better.

Sure. Like kau_cinta_cu said, the bigger the better. More water volume helps with fluxuations in water quality.
