sump snails/crabs

Does anyone keep crabs or snails in their sumps why/why not?

I keep both in my sump, but I also have a remote deep sand bed and cheato, + one fish I cannot catch in there and a couple of crabs, which hopefully are not eating all the other stuff in there

It wont hurt anything to have a few in the sump but thieves or not Id keep some in my MD.

Yes theya re, but target feeding helps reduce it. I squirt a little down under the rocks and then target feed my corals/anemone/ect..with a turkey baster. Works very well. Everyone gets food without having the corals getting crawled all over.
