Sump sugestions

I restarted my tank ten months back, after medical issues forced me away years ago. OK, I am getting too old to run to the basement all the time for my old setup. It has a huge sump fuge I built 15 years ago plumbed to the great room tank when we built this home. Wife just loved it when the first thing I did in the new house was drill big holes in the wall for the Reef tank plumbing!!

I am looking at a refugium- sump setup under the 72 bow display tank. But without modifying the base which I do not want to do, the largest is a Eshoppes RS-75 that fits without hitting rear stand center support that will fit in. Yet it it only half the available size-room there once in. Suggestions on adding a second fuge area and how one would plumb it to work in conjunction with the smallish RS-75 to increase volume and fuge area capability . Looking for any sugestions that don't increase cost drastically . The wife is already speaking of the never ending money pit arising again. Want to replace my old T5s soon with Kessil T5 combo too and she already saw that cost LOL Thanks.......

Procure a ten gallon or whatever size fits in the space. Pick one up when one of the big pet stores has their dollar a gallon sale, drill level equal size holes in the side of your extra tank & sump, connect them with pvc or acrylic tubing & slip bulkheads! Rubbermaid containers work just as well, they come in all different sizes & shapes, plus their depth would give you more water volume! Check any product over for the right symbols, you
