Sump Water Level Swing

Started last week the sump water level swing up and down almost by 1" with in couple minutes. Sometimes will go below the ATO sensor which trigger to fill but ended up over flow when the water level swing back up. Any idea why this is happening?

Did you check the overflow tube for obstructions? When my overflow tube (air bleeder) gets clogged with salt creep I get the up & down sump level.

see if the return pump is changing flow rate. that will cause the sump level to change.

I had that cleaned but still the same.

I thought about that too but how to check? My is the 1260. Not a DC pump that can change flow rate.

How long since you last cleaned your return pump? Maybe it just needs a good cleaning?

I do major clean up every 6 months.

which ATO pump are you using? If you use Tunze, you can separate the optical sensor and move the floating ball up higher so when it fill over an inch it does not make noise. But still need to investigate the drain pipe or valve.
