Well I wanted to set up a sump and was wondering if you can make them sort of like refugiums so that copepods will grow? It would also go under my tank...

I am also very confused with the plumbing can anyone help me out with that?

Add some rubble rock and a big piece for pods. But sumps are better for placing equipment in and the fuge better for macro algea. Look here for some help.
