Are the glass tanks that come with the skimmer kits available as stand alone parts?

Yes, but it is hard to justify them as a separate part, they run about $200 separately, as a kit the glass is practically free, you are really just paying for the components inside. They also are expensive to ship because the filters or glass alone ship as 90lbs dimensional weight by UPS, they come in a very well padded box that is 30" by 24" by 24"
