Sumps

I want to change out my sump. I have a 75 gallon tank. My problem is with my stand. I do not have alot of room for the sump. I only have about 29 inches in width. So I picked up a 20 gallon tall tank to use as a sump. Will this be enough for my tank, as a 29 gallon will be too big. Also, does anyone local cut glass to put in the tank. The skimmer that I will be using in the new sump is an ASM G2.

Lowe's or Home Depot both cut glass or you can use plexiglass, your choice.
