Sun coral or dendrophyllia?

I bought this just recently as part of a frag pack.

Seems like a dendrophyllia because it supposedly stayed out a lot more, but so far in my tank it only comes out when the MH is off. It did come out a bit more today when I moved it down and into a little shade.

I had just fed it some Rod's Food before the pic.

polyp looks similar to a dendrophyllia, but the growth form reminds me of a balanophyllia that i have. either way nice find

The stalk is back in the rock about 3 inches. Every pic I've seen of sun corals or dendros have short stalks before the heads start. This one looks like a Saguaro cactus

the stalks on my balanophyllia range from half inch to close to two and a half, the only difference i see is the tentacles on my balano are transluscent.
