I understand that sun corals are usually listed under "expert", but is it only because of the need to feed each polyp directly? Or is there anything else that makes them extra delicate?
they are only hard because you have to feed them daily. i usually feed every polyp individually. when you dont feed for a week they start dying off. if they are in light they grow algae on the dead spots and die sooner.
They are not overly difficult to care for. The hardest part is depending what shape you get them in is getting them to eat, after that it gets pretty easy.
