I recently aquired a Crocea in a raffle. it appears healthy except that mantle color includes splotches of grey (lack of zoozanthle pigment I think) which seem to correspond with the highest swells along the top of the mantle. No degradation inside or along edges. I'm wondering if the previous owner had it too close to intense halides?
I've had it for a couple weeks and placed it in my nano under 65w of PCs next to a baby maxima that has thrived there for over a year. I "think" it is improving, certainly no worse.
I will soon be moving both Tridacnas to my 75g reef. I know the Maxima, in particular, will be wanting a little more sunshine.
