I think I may have found the problem of my missing zoas. I was soaking the new frags I got from the swap in Reef Dip & decided to soak the zoas I have been having problems with in it too,
before transfering them to the new/er tank. I found a 1/4" & 1/16" sundial snail in 2 of them.

2 Qs:
1) How fast do they reproduce? I've been loosing entire colonies of zoas in the past year. Is my 55g infested w/them by now? I swear, I inspect everything & never see any! >(

2) Does Reef Dip kill these? I found them as I was placing the corals into the dip.

They dont reproduce at an alarming rate and they are not always killed by a reef dip. The nudis are a bigger concern with reproducing quickly and demolishing colonies. The best way is an iodine dip and manually inspect for the snails. Majority of the time the iodine takes care of the nudis.
