OK, I had orginally planned to pickup a lighting order for me and a buddy today, but since it doesn't look like I'm going to have a chance to get over there today I figured I'd open this up as a group buy to everyone over the weekend.

If there's something that they carry that you need, PM me and I'll get you a price.
Everything will qualify for a discount off regular retail.
Some of the stuff they carry include the TEK T5 fixtures w/ the German reflectors, Lumenmax MH reflectors, Mag-drive pumps, and Ecoplus budget pumps.


On a side note, something else I'm finally picking up directly next week is my 300gal water storage tank.... at the online quoted price!

If anyone remembers, I had a rant that the tank was advertised online for $188, but if I wanted to pick it up at the local store to save the $130 shipping charge, the price on the tank itself jumped to over $400. :eek1:
Long story short, after much emailing and phone calls I found out that since the particular tank I wanted is made locally I was able to phone in my order online and schedule the pickup directly from the factory that makes them here in Pompano.

So if anyone else is thinking of getting a large water tank, check if it ships from FL.
If it does, give the main online # a call and ask if it's manufactured in Pompano, and you might be able to save a pretty penny like I did.

They carry the Giesemann T5 bulbs, they also carry the Iwasaki, Ushio, Radium, and Venture MH bulbs.
The discount varies by product so I'll have to PM everyone back with pricing for individual items.

I think I still have some plugs left over in my tank (junk) room, but it looks like a bomb went off in there right now so I'll have to dig around and get back to you.
About the IC Gel glue, the minimum order from the mfg was 72 tubes so I didn't even get a price because I didn't think we would have enough people interested to buy that many.
If I'm wrong and enough people want it then I'll pursue it further.

I don't think that 72 would be all that tough to get rid of. It appears that we have a ton of fraggers here in the local area.
I'd be down for 6-12 of them myself depending on the final price just to keep around for when needed.

Most items are 10% off what Reefgeek normally sells for.
Some are up to 15% off.

I just found out that Sunlight Supply is now carrying UV brand T5 bulbs in addition to Giesemann.
The price for the group buy on UV is $16.50 per bulb, 24" to 48", any type (Aquasun 10k, Actinic White 50/50, AquaBlue 75/25, and Super Actinic)
