Sunny's 350 Gallon

Simply amazing. I have a 350G with 9 tangs and about 50 fish total, and am struggling with phosphate issues. A while back you posted that you don't use carbon or GFO, and haven't mentioned an ATS or bio-pellets either. WHat are your parameters, and how do you keep the nasties in check?

I have been running biopellets for 18 months now. Have not done a water change in 12 months.

Parameters are :-

Salinity - 1.026
pH - 8.0 - 8.24
Calcium - 440
Alk - 9.0
Temp 78 - 80
Nitrate - 0
PO4 - 0

Wow. Might have to try them myself if the ATS I recently set up doesn't work.

Beautiful tank! I was wondering if you find the 30in width adequate to do the aquascaping? Obviously what you have going on is a testimony to how awesome your tank is, but I'm curious if width was one of those "if I could do it over again I'd...."?

Thanks. I believe 30 inch is a good compromise. My tank is 5 years old now and is filled up nicely. Yes, now I can use extra 6 inches but I am happy with how I sloped my reef with 30 inch.

If I upgrade, it will be 60 inches front to back ;-)
