i am wondering whats the diffrence between the 150w and 250w other then 100w.. is it just the ballest that changes or the internal parts.. and if i go either one what cant i keep with the 150w that i can with the 250.. what bulb should i use i know there are so many out there... thanks for the help....

The 250 version has an external ballast. And the lamp fixture is bigger.
As for what you can keep, really depends on the size/depth of your tank. And what you want to keep.
Over my 30 cube, I have the 250 version, I am keeping an LTA (( in/on the sandbed )) SPS, and Zoas. Might add a clam at some point. Right now I am using the 14K bulb that came with it.
