Sunset Flyfishing Picture

Got a really good picture of me Flyfishing the other day at sunset. It was the best pic of the day!

Taken with an old Nikon Digital thats a few years old and beat up pretty badly. (its my fishing camera) Whatcha think?

Cool pic. Can your camera get wide enough to get the rod in the picture if you turn it sideways?


What were you fishing for? I live near the Delta here in CA... a lot of guys are flyfishing it now for large mouth bass and striped bass. I'm about 50/50 fly and conventional. We also head down to Baja Mexico and flyfish in the Sea of Cortez... which is just unreal.

here i was fishing for Bull Bluegill. Very finicky right now so i have to make looong casts, so im using a 9' 3wt. These guys get around 2lbs so they are a BLAST on a 3wt.

I live on the OBX in NC so i flyfish for pretty much the entire year for almost every atlantic species of fish. Stripers will be here soon and we just got finished up with our fall Albie runs!! Albies broke 2 10wts this year... =\
