Sunset Monti growth

Anyone else have ridiculously fast growth from a sunset monti? I picked up a frag about 2 weeks ago and it is already growing off the plug.

I can literally see growth from when I leave in the morning and come home from work. I have never seen anything like that before. My caps dont even grow like that.

Just curious what your experiences have been.

They grow fast once they settle in but that sounds ludicrous fast, haha! You're doing something right!

They're almost pest link throb grow so fast, they also don't lose to much that could be on their path. Place them carefully

Mines is also growing very fast. But the green polyps turned the same orange color as the body.

Its closest neighbors are a couple of purple rhodactis. I think the shrooms will win.

For the record, it seems to be growing about 1 - 1.25 cm per week.

Exactly why I am done with encrusting monti's - they are glorified weeds and are impossible to keep in check.
