We're alive and well and have completed a little over 1800 miles of the trail so far, less than a 1/3 to go! Sorry but the blog updates come when we get wifi service and sometimes that can take weeks. I'm currently writing this from the USO at the Denver Airport. I'll be back in IL tonight though I'm heading to Springfield to attend and makeup some Guard drills so we can continue the trail into early October. I'm down if anyone wants to meet up next Wednesday (24th) night for grub and a beer or two. Sometime after 8pm and in the SLU area would be best for me.

Modern air travel is about as different from hiking the PCT as anything could be. It all through me off for a bit but I'm adjusting. The limitless food and a proper porcelain to get rid of it all helps though. :lol:
