Super glueing coral to back wall?

I have some pulsating Xenia on a light weight small rock, do I need to remove the Xenia from the rock in order to glue it to the back wall of my biocube or can I glue the rock too? What kind of super glue works best?
Thanks

You might not need to glue it. I put my xenia in a back corner and waited. If it got moved away from the glass I just put it back. After a few weeks it attached itself to the glass at the stalk. It's not exactly where I want it, but it's OK for now.

Here's a shot just a few days before it attached . . .

I used a suction cup with xenia glued to it so I could put it exactly where I wanted it. Then the xenia moved on to the glass

If you can get the suction cup to stick. I can't get a suction cup nori clip to stay stuck!!

I tried superglue gelling some GSP to the back wall of the tank, even used pliable epoxy glued that to the glass with gell and itself, then glued the GSP to the epoxy (tried just the superglue gel first without the expoxy) and nothing held.. What's the secret to getting it to stick under water and to glass.

It said right on the box, to dry the area first, and didn't list glass as one of the surfaces it works on.

Superglue skins up when it hits the water, which can be pretty useful once you get used to it as you can build it up in layers to fill in larger gaps. I often need more on there than just what will stay on with one appication.

What I usually do is put a bit of glue on the piece then dunk it for just a second in some tank water I have in a bowl, then put some more on in the same area to build it up a bit, being careful where it goes. Then once you have a nice amount of it built up quickly place it where you want, dont move it around and hold it in place for a couple of minutes.

Hope that helps.
