nice yuma,

i wouldn't cut a yuma into 6 pieces ever, halves only for me once they have acclimated to my system and they are happy.
 
That yuma is definitely bright!

It looks like it has a bit of a bacterial infection from the looks of those black spots. A lot of times they can't beat an infection like that. Keep us posted on whether it survives.

Was that a wild yuma or aquacultured? I'll only buy aquacultured yumas after losing a couple of wild ones. They are so picky.
 
southstar066 I saw in another post that you thought it got stung by some sweepers so I thought I could have been wrong... but then again getting stung usually results in whitish spots not black ones.
Keep me in mind for the baby of the baby :)
 
yea i thought it had been stung, the infection spread to all my rics(about 6 or 7) and killed them all. i still have the baby tho...its a purple color at the moment but hopefully colors up to red...its only about the size of a pen head
