Jeremy is it possible to tell me if the Super Reef Octopus 1000 External dimensions informed at the home page includes pump and plumbing? if not, could you inform me the full space necessary?

Dimensions: 11.5" x 10.5" x 22"

Those dimensions are indeed accurate, however I'm not sure about the future of this particular model still being available. From what I've heard Coralvue is discontinuing the Ext model, and keeping the Int.

I'm looking for a ext skimmer, I really want an external model, the proplem is, the skimmer is for a 35g nano tank. It's beem really hard to find external model for such a small size tank. This model was the smallest I have found.

Any suggestion?

What about the Octopus 110 recirc? It's a 5" body, and should do exactly what you're looking for, without being too much overkill and still be able to work for you.
