Considering getting a couple of these reactors, but I can't find any reviews on them. Anyone using or has used them?

They are nice, well constructed. My buddy has a couple, I have use the NextReef MR1 reactors, after a couple months use of the RO reactors he wishes he had gone with the MR1's. Not sure specifically why...

what type of media? You may want to look at the aquamaxx reactors. I saw these at a show and it seems they need very little GPH to get the media moving.

I'm looking to run carbon in one and gfo in another. I have a BRS reactor right now, it is nice, but looking for something a little nicer perhaps. I've heard great things about nextreef too.. and I'll have to check out aquamaxx!

The aquamaxx has a swirling motion as opposed to just a straight up motion, so you get more movement. It's one of the better reactors I've seen.

Are these the Aquamaxx biopellet reactors people are using for carbon/gfo? Or is it a new product not picked up by vendors yet?

I was just going to get two regular RO reactors for carbon and GFO but avast marine has some nice ones too.

the key feature no sponges to clog overtime.

That's why I was looking at them, because there are no sponges to clog. I've only used BRS ones, are the other brands easy to change out too?
