super skimmer or prizm

i had the prizm and had red algae all over switched to the coralife superskimmer 65 and all of it disapeered within days. The looks of the prizm are a bit nicer if you dont have a hood and its out side. but the efficiency of the css is unbeatable.

I have no experience with the others, but I've been less then happy with the prizm. The biggest problem I have is that I either set it a little low and it skims almost nothing, or I turn it up a little and it creates a very wet skimmate, tries to overflow the cup, and sends microbubbles into the tank. After 6 months I've given up on trying to find the sweet spot and have just left it low. Anyway, that's my experience. Anyone with an idea on how to fix these problems, let me know.

I used a Prizm on my 40 gal, when they First came out - I didn't have any problems with it, now I hear they have made a few improvements...
Nice for small tanks that don't have a sump...
