superglue on carpet

I was attaching a new piece I got a few days ago, and the blob of superglue fell onto the carpet. Whats the best way to get it up?

Yes, unfortunately they are right. Fortunately the same solution is not required if you get it on your fingers. Still being careful is best.

I think there is a product that will break down ca glue. a name I don't have. try the local hobby store. boiling it works but good luck with carpet

If your rug is color-safe to acetone (test it in a closet?), any old nail polish remover will do the trick. Read this to double check and be sure to test that carpet in a safe place, first!
