Is super glue reef safe if i need to repair a filter? The repaired area will be exposed to water.

Many of us have used super glue gel to glue corals and rocks down. I'm not sure if its the best thing for the filter repair or not though. Epoxy is another option.

As soon as it touches the water it will skin over and start to cure. You may want to make the repair while the site is dry.

Right... I pulled out the piece to be repaired by the super glue and let it dry for an hour or so, even though super glue probably doesn't take that long at all.

If it has to be dry...how do you attach coral frags with it?
