SuperGlue!!!?

look for cyanoacrylite or something like that in the ingredients - cant remember the spelling... and get gel and not liquid

I agree, look for a gel, it's much easier to work with. Any cyanoacrylate glue will work, my personal preference is Loc-Tite brand.

Is this gel superglue only good for attatching liverock to liverock or can it be use on other things in your tank? Is it ok to apply the gel superglue inside of the tank?

you can do frags to rock with it, and you can do it in your tank, but most likely not recommended... alot better to take whatever you want out and dry it first....

I have some zoos on a small rock i would like to attatch to another small rock with zoos on it. I guess what i'm trying to say is how long would they be ok out of water while i'm waiting for the glue to dry?

i2go - Don't mean to take your thread on a tangent but now that it seems your question is answered, and as long as we are on the subject.......

How do you attach LR to other LR with superglue? Dosn't the corline algae and other stuff prevent a good bond? Do you need to sand off a clean area that matches another clean area on another rock? I'm trying to build a reef wall on the back of my tank and could use any advice?

An epoxy would work much better then the gel for gluing LR together.

I have used sg gel to glue zoas many times. Take a paper towel and dry off the rock that you will be gluing to. Take the zoas out and pat dry them also. Place a small amount of sg gel on the rock and place the zoas on it. Give it a few seconds and you are done.

Dubbin 1 - What type of epoxy?

yeah, the fancy reef epoxies are always better.. but if you need to do it now and don't have a lfs with any of those epoxies - sg gel works good enough...

I think I've seen this stuff at HD. I forget what its called, something like plumbers epoxy. You squish it together until the color is consistent. Probably the exact same thing at half the price?
