Superman Bullseye Mushroom - Bleaching?

I recieved a shipment of some frags from ebay last week, Thrusday.

All have opened and are doing extremely well, except my Superman Bullseye Mushroom. Well he's opened too, but 1/4 from center out like a slice of pie on the head is bleached white.

Fluval Edge 6.6g
Levels are good and have been for 5 weeks.

10lbs Live Sand for 1.5" - 2" Deep sand bed
6.5lbs Live Rock from LFS 5 minutes from house. (Trusted)
Cycle Completed in 2 days - Although I've waited until now; week 6 to add corals

When my bloom occured during cycle following weekend, I grabbed 2-Blue Legged Hermit, 2-Cynth Snails, 1-Turbo, & 1-Scarlett Crab.

I'm running the stock Aquaclear 20 it came with, Typical Upgrade to (2) MR11 15 LED lights ~6500k, and a Blue LED Strip for moon light ~750k

RED MUSHROOM CORAL | Opened Happy
GIANT NEON GREEN BUTTON POLYPS zoanthids | Opened moved to highest point in tank last night
WHITE BLUE EYE POLYPS ZOANTHIDS | Still closed, just moved to highest point in tank last night.
SUPERMAN BULLSEYE MUSHROOM | Opened but bleached.

Dose Iodine, Calcium, and Reef micro's from the Kent Reef Pack every 2 days; 1/2 dose since I've gotten the frags; starting tomorrow full dose.

Seller mentioned he's kept them 18" below Metal Hilaids, so my assumption is that the superman is just freaked out because I'm only running M11 LED.

Any suggestions to help this little guy out.

I've moved him up 1 level so he's now mid tank but still on the edge; which as I"m sure most know on the egdge is still LOW LIGHT...

Thanks,

-CD

I don't see where you have it in the pic, but I'd put it in the dark part under the rock at the bottom right of the tank. Those things burn really easily, chances are pretty good the seller had burned it before you got it, and it's going to need next to no light for a little while to start bouncing back.

Sorry about that, uploaded FTS instead of my frags. Pic updated.

Tuck him in that cave when I get home then...

Thanks,

Bleaching coral ?

Bleaching coral ?

Hi Chaz15 ; If the bleached area is small it may recolonize and be as good as new. Before it gets worse I would contact the company or person you bought them from and see if they are willing to send a new frag or reimburse you for the bleached one. Good Luck and Happy Reefing!!!
