Superman Monti Growth Shots

I always like growth pics so I thought I'd post a couple of mine.

I got this frag on March 29th:

August 4:

Here it is on October 25, of course 75% of the growth is on the backside of the rock where I placed it, where I can't get a picture:

Another SPS (don't know the name of it):

Frag I got on March 1:

Actinic Shot from September 19:

Not exact sure on the date on this one, but it's from the last month or so. The lighting is off, it's really a nice purple color:

I really like those little branches too. It's not really branching like you would think though, that's actually where it encrusted on some sponges that were growing there.

Nice job! That Superman looks sweet! Very healthy. What lighting are you growing it under?

It's under an ATI 8x54w T5 fixture, towards the bottom of the tank.

wow! How do you like the T5's vs. halides? Great job man! I wonder if my 250 watt 14k halide would give me that color on a superman.

I love the T5's over halides personally, but you should be able to get good color with halides too.

That's a big T5 set up your got. However, I think my one 250 would work fine for my small tank. Great job, all your corals look great!

I agree, you can get the same colors using halides, all other things being equal.
