Is there anyone out there that purchased Superman Monti frag from Rob's about two months ago?
He had a few, and I picked one up.
They were all really really tiny. Mine has barely doubled in size which is still smaller than a dime. Has anyone gotten any growth or substantial growth from theirs?
 
I did not get my Superman from Rob's but I do have a Superman Monti & yes it is a VERY VERY slow grower.
 
I have some stuff that i got from Sanjay that looks like Montipora Riguosa that did not grow forever (over 1yr) even though all other Montis were growing fine and then took off. Sometimes SPS will just do nothing for a while and then just go crazy.
 
I keep all my Monti's at mid tank and below....in a 30" tall tank w/ 3 400W MH's. The rest of my Montis are pretty fast growers....especially a Blue Rim Green Monti Cap frag I got from Robs a few weeks ago. Man..this thing is just taking off..... already doubled in size and has encrusted itself to the rockwork already. Not exactly sure if I should maybe move the Superman up or down, it is about mid tank now. I am getting new 10K EVC bulbs within the next week....see if these will help at all....
 
I ordered EVC 400w 10K SE Bulbs

vince @ oceanencounter is who I ordered mine from......I have not recieved them yet, nor has he shipped them yet that I know of....Claims they are stuck in customs. And the only way he seems to return my calls is when I leave a message to cancel the order...then he promises they will be in tommorrow or the next day positively. Poor customer service with this vendor. 1st and last time with this vendor I think..depends on how they follow up with this order...put it this way...I ordered the 3 EVC bulbs and Replacement cartridges for my Spectrapure RO/DI from him last monday on the 11th and also ordered them three day air and have not recieved anything yet. He claims he did credit my 3 day air charge..but still no word on either the bulbs or the cartridges...or anything for that matter.

chad @ reefscience has them in stock for immediate delivery.......wish I would have known.

Both are selling for basically the same price @ $56-$57 and change each.

My partner called you when we received your order and saw it was 2nd day air and told you it would not go out due to the fact that the bulbs were coming in and that it depended on customs on how long it would take. I have no control over customs. At that time you were told that all your shipping charges would be refunded. You requested we change part of your order and asked if we could get a new item that spectrapure came out with. Beth told you she would check it out and if she did not call you back that meant it was going out. At that time you told us to charge your card the difference between what we were going to refund and the price of the new item. That is why you have not received a refund on your card but you also have not received the additional charge yet either.
Vince has kept you up to date on a daily basis. I sorry it is taking longer than we wanted but like I stated I can not control customs. I am only passing on the information I receive from my customs broker. I am as anxious to get my product as you are. Last word from broker about 15 min. ago that customs did release should be here Fri.
If you still feel you want a refund I understand but the spectrapure product has shipped so I would be refunding you for the bulbs. Please let me know.
 
I am trying to politely not get a moved on here in responding to this, so I will pick my words very carefully. If I must say..I have never....ever.... personally FLAMED a business here on RC, but by responding this way, you leave me no other choice. You will be my FIRST! HAH.....Your business is the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with in this industry....and I have spent over 20 grand dealing with various online vendors within in the last year procuring Equipment and Supplies for my Reef tank. Your business has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced from any online business..EVER. You people really have a lot to learn! Since you never responded to my email, and you only responded by forwarding me to this thread...It seems to me that you want to air your dirty business in public...well, you asked for it...you got it! You know as well as I that Vince has not been in touch with me every day..that is utterly absurd and a blatant LIE!

Yes, I did request to change the order. But only and only after I called a day after it was supposed to be delivered and I called to find out where my order was and I was told it wasn't even ordered yet...THAT'S when I changed the order to two cartridges instead of one. And I still have not heard anything about this till I just read your reply on this thread. You call this good customer service?????????????????????????
Since you will not answer emails or return calls..and you seem to only want to contact me in a public forum...then read this-
CANCEL MY ORDER FOR THE BULBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Refund my money as per my request.
I will never give your business another penny...ever..and will let everyone I know about your terrible customer service...in person..in the vendor forum and every single time I see your name mentioned!
I feel sick for doing any business with you at all.....

Nate: Did you order your bulbs from Ocean Encounters Today? I just recieved a call from Vince and he told me that the 400w bulbs are in customs.....aaarrrrgg! and not sure when they will be released.......

I have talked to you multiple times since then.
I am sorry I cannot ship you something I do not have yet.
