I know this coral is always on demand as of yesterday Aquarium Concepts in Miami has 5 super nice pieces 3' to 4'' they are open today, 7288 SW 117th Ave. 305 273-0040.
Happy Independence Day

didnt snag the supermans... BUT i just came back from there and got 2 baby BTAs for 50 bucks... one is a regular rose about half dollar sized and the other is one of those starburst green BTAs about 2x that size... maybe a little bigger...

im gonna grow them... hopefully propogate them for club members/etc and trade-in value... now i have 2 money makers the btas and xenia... woot lol

oh... forgot to mention... both are tight mouthed and bubbled up in the acclimation bucket now...

more of a purple than a blue.. but still pretty... and i didnt ask because i had just spent 50 bucks and if they were a decent price i would have spent more... lol

the polyps looked pretty red to me.. not like the rusty color of a red/orange monty

to update they are in the tank... bubbles have gone down on the green (not all the way) and are still around on the red... they have some CE sticking to their tentacles after i fed, but didnt seem interested in feeding... both feet are firmly attached and they react to touch like i would expect a healthy nem to do... hopefully we will have a future of BTAs to supply south florida with... i almost never see any good ones out there...i WILL cut like Calfo suggested as soon as they are too big for the display, heal and sell off...

also on a side note the rock is plastered with aptasia, so as soon as i can get these guys to walk off that rock and onto mine i am going to dry it out completely like some other rock i am de-pesting (bubble algae and other nasties)

I have a piece that is bright blue/purple, with red polyps (turbo snail knocked it off a rock and upside down into another rock while I was at work, polyps dulled, but starting to color back up. Then I have the real deal superman, lighter blue base, BRIGHT red polyps..

Here are a few pics of some frags from my colony:

Here is mine, little polyp extention as I just transfered to the 75gal tank because I noticed the light in the 210 was burning the top edge.

Chris, I have a piece thats probably 8"x4", when I got it, it was totally browning, the base had the hint of blue, and I saw the polyps were coloring up to red around the sides, so I picked it up to give it a shot, its was pretty cheap, now that its been in my tank for a few weeks, it is coloring up really nice, the same colors as your frags, the polyps are bright red and the base is that nice "superman" blue. Still alot of brown on it, but once it fully covers up, its going to be a masterpiece. Rogger saw it tonight.
