Supplementing kessils

I need to brighten or whiten my current 75 gallon which is lit by 2 kessil a150w 20k deep ocean blue. I'm looking to bring some sunlighting into the equation like maybe a 360 or a very thin profile 48" led strip or a A160 to wash the blue out a little bit. I want this third light to ramp on and off and turn on the 2 kessil a150's via timer after wards. I just wanted other people's ideas or what others may have done in a slightly similar situation. I am setting up my 125 gallon reef right now. I am going with 4 kessil a150W 10k and a 72 inch AquaticLife 8x39w fixture. Actinics hour in the morning and hour at night with 4 bulbs running with the kessils all day. This is the plan atleast.

See I understand I could supplement with t5 or someother rather large fixturebut I'm trying to keep the profile small and minimal. Not to mention I would have to incorporate the kessils into a fixture with t5's and personally I like the open top I've got. I saw some kind of 3-3/4" wide 48"l orbit usa? Led fixture that has some kind of controls and the measurements seem to be minimally intrusive upon the kessil spread at the height I have. Has anybody used these? Its looking like options are limited for me.

Are you referring to the light made by Current USA I think? If so I have used their freshwater satellite plus light. They are actually pretty nice lights for the price. Pretty basically programmable with adjustable individual color intensities and memory to store your color combination. In these settings they are also dimmable but this must be done manually done and saved with the freshwater unit. Also has basic ramp timer. The freshwater one is very bright and supposedly can grow some low lighting plants

The marine version looks to be the upgraded model off that. I am sure that it could add some brighter light to the tank if that is what you are after. How much PAR to grow corals I have no idea. Pretty sure it uses pretty weak LEDS that would probably only grow soft corals.

Yeah they are actually pretty decent lights for what they are. They will brighten the tank up some for sure. I wouldn't expect a lot of growth out of it however. Some others might be able to help you out more though. If you are looking for just something to add light to the tank they will do alright and have some decent features at their price point. Build quality is fair the low wattage LEDs they use don't generate much if any heat so heat sinks aren't a big deal. Also housed in some sort metal which is good, a lot of lower end LEDs are housed in plastic

The DOB is an actinic light and isn't intended to used alone. I run one with a pair of A150w Ocean Blue and it's a great balance.
