Surface feeding clown

This is just a pic of a 16 day old clown feeding on the surface. I'm just excited that one held still for a nano second. Does anybody notice that clowns will feed off rots on the surface too? Or are they just empty striking?

Its actually an ocellaris. It looks darker because its still in the black larvae tank. They all look dark until I put them in growout-

The bottom row is growout. All this is in my back room at school that used to be used for storage.

It does in the real estate market! The good news is that its only about 250 of the 3,800 jobs in the K-zoo area. I'm just glad they dont outsource public education...... yet.

broncofish,I've been following your website and threads. All I can say is WOW you've really have a nice setup.I think it's fantastic how the kids have taken to learning about rasing fish.I'll be in touch soon for some phyto and rots.Awsome job,I'm very impressed :)

Thanks Nick. And thanks again for the help you gave us a few months ago. Everything has been put to use. I've got lots of kids that like to tinker, so having odds and ends of things helps a lot! We're waiting for a larger skimmer to be donated, so right now we're using the one you sent on our growout system. I think we are setting a record for the most amount of skimmate that little thing can throw out.
