Sushi Thread!!!!!!!

Darn, I missed sushi night! Just got back from NJ (and Chicago last week). NJ was in the mid 60s and drizzle. NY set a record low. Refreshing! for 2 days but glad to be back to ETN and summer. I'm not ready for fall now that I've had 2 days of it.

and the FAA sucks! I was lucky to make it home at midnight but at least we didnt get stuck on the runway for 4hrs like our crew did on their way from Nash to Newark. I pitty the souls...

We will have to plan it again very very soon...next Tuesday? the one after?
 
Ashley and I had fun... Cristina is too funny... :D Poor little thing... Melly ate all her food while she wasn't looking... :lolspin:

We're planning on meeting up again at Sakura the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27... Say 6pm???

BTW, I saw a grand opening sign for Lemon Grass in Knoxville on Executive Park near Cedar Bluff. I've had an urge for Sushi since I saw it. I'm not trying to change the venue, Sakura is fine with me, just wanted to mention it so other sushi lovers know about it.
 
Lemongrass is excellent!

Would it be a problem to meet a little bit later? maybe closer to 7?
If not, no problem, but I'd like to join :)
 
7 is fine by me... :D I'll probably go a bit earlier closer to 6:30, so I can get my money's worth... ;)
 
Hey Don, we all went to Lemongrass recently for dinner one night. Me, Matt (plus mom and sis), Donny, Adam (as was discussed earlier...or Moby), Art (Max and Trinity), Randy and Ashley.

We talked about Sakura this time then Lemongrass next time!

I'm down for eating the sushi!

I know, I keep forgetting them. :(
Ponds are still running, so I'll catch her some nice ones to have inside for the winter. Maybe I'll see if I can take off early and run by the house to get those. Then I can just come at 6-6:30.
 
Bump for tomorrow evening... :D Between 6:30 and 7:00... Apparently Sustainable Aquatics has laid down the challenge of who can eat the most sushi... ;) So bring your appetites!!!!!!!
 
I'm not going to be able to make it. For some reason the flu and sushi don't go togeather very well.
 
As much as I thought there would be a reversal in my near future when I left Sakura...there was not.

MAN...I was convinced I was gonna go home and a reversal would occur...but nope. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad about it at this point.

42 pieces is a LOT for me...especially when I've eaten a huge piece of dressing right before coming over.
