I just wanted to know how does your skimmer react when the skim-mate is wiped down the neck? Is it pushed back up in the collection cup or does it just get mixed back up and coat the neck? Looks like it pulling all sorts of junk out!:fish1::fish1:

It never really builds up on the neck. Maybe a light sheen at most, but never enough that I have noticed anything falling back into the skimmer.

The swabbie is on a timer to come on for 1 minute 4 times a day (i.e. every 6 hours). Couldn't be happier. It not only has cut down on maintenance time, but let's me run wetter skimate as well.
