Swap: Call for volunteers

In the final days before the swap, we are trying to pull things together for a fun time. We are looking for some volunteers to help us work the door, help arrange the room and put out food, help with clean up, and (we are sure) help with random things that come up. If you are willing to help, would you please post on this thread, or email me at sbennett@psu.edu, or send me a PM. The swap is 11-4 this Saturday. If you are able to come a little early or stay a little late, please let me know that too.

Thanks!
Scott

Re: Swap: Call for volunteers

I am available to help setup etc and should still be there to help break down. I'm only about 30 to 45 minutes away, so this should not be a problem. If you wanted to setup Friday night to save on the hassle of doing it Saturday morning, I work in Dunmore and could come over after work. Otherwise I can be there earlier then 11, just let me know.

Thanks, we appreciate the help! I'll get back to you with definite plans, but probably planning to meet at 10 or 10:15 should give us enough setup time. I don't think that we'll need to set up on Friday night (Ron, you've seen the place, what do you think?).

I will try to be there early. It depends on how quick I can pack the car with all the raffle items and bag up my frags!

Excellent! I think there will be plenty of people there early to help with setup.

What we could use now are a few people willing to help us work the door during the swap. Unlike some swaps, we aren't paying anyone to work the door this time, and so we need to take turns (I want to swap too!). If we get enough volunteers, we could probably just take 1/2 hour shifts, but it might need to be a little longer. We have just a simple registration form, so it's not hard. Any willing folks, please let me know!
