Swap T5's with Reefbrite actinics

Hello, I have a 210 gallon tank and am currently running 3 250W MH and 4 80W T5s. The T5s are ATI blue+ (3) AND ATI purple + (1). I don't want to abandon my MH just yet because I am too afraid of screwing up a good thing in my tank. The corals are growing very well and I like the color. My thoughts are that swapping out the actinic lighting will not be as big a problem as swapping the MH.

I was wondering if two 72" Reefbrite LED strips would be adequate enough replacement for the 4 T5s.

I was thinking of doing the same thing as I did not want to ruin what PAR I had going by putting in Actinics instead of my Blue +'s. Has anyone used Reefbrite LED strips to help bring corals colors out when using MH or just T5's?

Lets get a discussion going on this.

I was over at world wide corals this past weekend and when I wanted to get a pick of some z/p Victor hung a reefbrite over it to bring out all the great color. :) I think I am resigned to the fact that I am not going to be able to DIY a similar light and I haven't seen many threads here on RC talking about it. I was hoping there would be more discussion but then again maybe I chose the wrong forum.

From what I can tell, inside the reefbrite they are using a u-shaped channel with led's on each side running the length of the channel. There are also reflectors on the sides of the fixture. One of the members in my local club chatted with the inventor of the reefbrites and he mentioned that they use a differently designed LED (or that is how I interpreted what I was reading) which benefits from reflectors and not lenses.
