swapping to halides

it just depends on what ya want to keep,for sps you would prolly want at least 150 watt halides or equivelant t5s.just my thoughts
 
It also depends on how much you're willing to pay for a fixture, and your taste in bulbs. Better fixtures cost more, but can deliver a lot more light. I use a Lumen Max 2 pendant over one of my 29g tanks, for example, and it is very efficient. I matched it with a very efficient bulb, and am happy with the result, although it's not blue enough for a lot of people.
 
I have had bad experiences with JBJ lighting. The vendor feedback forum might have more recent reviews, though.
