I purchased my SWC-120 a few months back and I haven't had good luck with it since I bought it. I just can't seem to get it dialed in right..
I have it currently sitting in 9" of water. I've tried as low as 5" and a deep a 11" and everywhere in between. I've adjusted the air intake to lower or higher and still no good results.. It just won't stay consistent with anything. For intance before I will go to sleep and it looks like it's acting normal, bubbling almost to the top of the cup to collect skimate, and then when I wake up the level of the bubbles inside the skimmer only rises to about 4" past the water level (no where near top of collection cup.. The inside of the cone itself has skimate on it, and my collection cup barely gathers any.. When the water level is staying consistently low I will try and adjust the knob to raise the water level and it will go up to normal level, then an hour later it's overflowing everywhere.
Any ideas before I sell this thing and try another product?
