No I was actually getting kind of a dryer skim but ok to make sure the white valve is for air anyone have a pic of which way is open all the way? Water level is red knob correcto? I have it so that it's about half way around cus theres like a little indented o on one side

mine is in 9" of water, air wide open. water line inside the skimmer is a little below the white ring where the cup attaches to the skimmer body. I skim dry. No over flowing problems since i set it up. been running since april. hth

the red knob is the outlet valve... but... the red dot and white dot don't line up in mine to indicate open or closed... so i wouldn't trust that unless you align it somehow... i might have to do next time i take it out and clean it...

just twist the top air valve thing all the way to the + side...
