Are you guys going to get anymore of the SWC 250 1A skimmers?

Unfortunately we do not have plans to pick that skimmer back up at this time. We do have others that are similar though, such as the Alpha line, and the Octopus XP line.

I'm looking for new skimmer for my son tank. What are your though on the SRO xp 3000 int.

The XP 3000 is not a bad skimmer at all, however it's fairly large. What size system would you be running this on?

My son tank is a 185gal w/ 50 sump. I'm debating on the Vertex alpha 200 vs. SRO XP 3000 int. I wished the Alpha 200 have the 10" cone instead 8". He had the ATB 840 that had the 8" cone. The ATB look is alittle small in size. What the warranty on the RD pump.

I think all of these are oversized for your system in my opinion. I would look at the Alpha 170 for this size tank, or even a Bubble King Mini 200. The Mini 200 is a pretty big jump up in price though. Having said that, the ATB 840 was probably borderline for that size tank, depending on the load, the Alpha 170 would handle it with no problem at all, and you get quailty of construction that is unmatched! Warranty on the RD pump is 2 years, with a 10yr part replacement availability guarantee.
