sweaty copper pipe sweat drips in prop tank! Please Help?

I have about a 60 gallon prop system that I somehow never noticed that I placed it under a copper water line in my basement. It is wrapped with foam and until now has definitely never been an issue.

Well about an hour or so ago I was messing with one of the lights and I ended up grabbing the pipe. Sure enough there was a split right above the tank and a few good size drops went in. There was a good amount of water still in the foam so I let it all out and tested it. It was pretty much off the charts for copper.

I immediately did about a 30 gallon water change and am now running some carbon. The system is 100% sps which is why I am asking here.

Can anyone tell me, Should I be worried? I tested the system water and it's undetectable as of now.

What is the smallest amount of copper that can be lethal to sps?

Get some polyfilter and actively run it somehow...either through a canister filter or have your drain line into the sump pour on top of it. This will remove any copper

The tank is full of sps. I guess what I am asking is should I take some drastic measures here and try to relocate them all or would that be an overreaction?

Pretty much thinking about immediate action here. I do not have a polyfilter on hand.

Do you have any snails or shrimp in there? They still alive?

If you can relocate the SPS obviously that would be the best thing to do. I'd stick a couple of inverts in there and let them be your canary. You might be ok for short term until you get polyfilter.

there is a cleaner shrimp in there that looks fine. Also the sps do all look fine as well.

just tested again with an api kit and the water is 100% clear. Results Look identical to the results I got testing my display tank water.

Would love to know what level or amount of copper is enough to do in sps.

I wouldn't freak our then. Go to the lfs and get some polyfilter tomorrow and I think every will be ok.

Sadly, no lfs near me that carry poly's I'd have to order one. Suppose I'll do that now.

I think I'll do another 30 or 40 gallong WC tomorrow too.
