Sweet Frogsporn

I had this frogsporn which started from a skelton chip with a small piece of flesh on it glued to a 1x1" frag as a rescue coral and has turned into this beauty!! All pics from iPhone full lighted.

09/2010 - tiny 1/4" piece on a 1x1" frag.....

11/2010 - to this.....

09/2011 - all the way to this (5 heads)

And here is a close up of one of the heads.....It has neon green with purple tip tenticles with a midnight purple/almost black center with a neon yellow mouth!!! I have never seen quite a contrast of colors....especially with an almost black center. This has grown into one of my favs!!!

I am going to try to take some new pics with my SLR when I have time to attempt to really capture the contrasting colors.

Thanks, yeah this has unexpectedly grown into a beauty...the pics are hard to demonstrate what you see in person

What is your system set up like. seems like you have an ability to grow them.

Well, standard 90g with sump, seaswirl, 3 korilias 3's (sp?), dose limewater for ATO, occational Mg,K,Iodide, and bi-tri weekly WC's of 15-20%....bla bla bla

No. It gets the nutrients from the tank and any food that floats by during fish feedings.

plus 1 looks great cant wait for my tank to finish cycling to get some in there. What kind of lighting do you use?
