250G impressive collection indeed! Dont you wish there was such a thing as aquarium insurance, especially in your case :D
Btw what make/model camera are you using in your pics, bc they are very clear and vivid!

Anyone here view their zoas with a magnifying glass? All these pics look stunning and when I end up buying them they look nothing as great as the pics. Yet then again these pics are magnified so was just wondering.

Think everyone could use insurance! Lots of big tanks around these days. Camera is a Canon S3IS. Don't think they even make it anymore as it was replaced with the Canon 5SIS this year. You may be able to get one used though for a $200 I would think.

Close-ups are the best way of accurately capturing the fine details of zoas. I agree though if you do not have these right at the front of your tank near the glass, you will miss the detail the camera captures. Whether it be acropora or zoas, my nicest ones always go near the front in a great viewing position.

While I agree some online store/photos are a little to good to be true, many of the best pieces I have ever pick-up have been from online sources based on a photo.

What kind of camera's are you guys using to capture these amazing photo's? With so much invested in my tank the girlfriend would flip out if I mention buying an expensive camera.....but it may be worth it! :)

I bought these new palys today, their the ones with the green center and red body, I guess you can call them legions of doom.

Here's a patch of zoas and palys at the top of my tank. The 4 polyps of sunflower zoas started with only 1 polyp and the other 3 grew within a month. I can see another 4-6 tiny heads growing out from the edges with they are closed. :)
