SWF hitch hikers

So I'm inspecting some green star polups I got as a freebie and I noticed 2 big "pods" on the underside. I was gonna put them in the tank to have babies but on further examination I found they are pistol shrimp of some kind, 1/4th inch or so I dont know if they are good or bad. I'm assuming bad but I have a 1g nano that will make them a good home till one breaks the plastic.

I dipped and scrubbed the GSP for at least 1/2 hr with a tooth brush. IT (GSP) "MIGHT" survive but anything that was on it is not likely to survive. I'll take a weak GSP over a pistol or nudi any day.

lol You can't kill GSP... I've had it on my Mohawk colony for over a year now... I've scraped it off with a knife and still had it come back...

I thought pistol shrimp were fun to watch with a YWG and such? If any survive fora bit let me know, might be interesting to have the kids watch that relationship...

Depends on the type of pistol... Carribeans don't pair up like tigers and randalls do... Usually the type that hitchhike just kinda hang out... Not necessarily a bad thing...
