mine seem pretty good. Love the yellow wrasse, but I think it likes my baby ceriths  My clowns arent too happy with the new roomate, but I think they are fine. Just as long as it stays away from there hairy mushrooms and I think they worked that out because it hasnt went near them after the 3rd chase. And I just found out I may have a 55 gal. waitin' on me!

about future order, I think swf will take care of Angela with the DOA. By crediting her card. I hope that works. I'm really interested in a future bluezooaquatics order. Not anytime soon though. Maybe middle of next month.

We've ordered from saltwaterfish probably 5+ times now, and had no trouble with them. Everything has always arrived alive and pretty healthy. I'd say most things you pull out of the SWF boxes look about as healthy as they do when the LFS dumps their shipping bags into their tanks...can't expect things to be too happy after a trip like that.

As far as the snails/hermits being shipped w/out water, they've started doing that just recently - not sure why. You're just supposed to float the bag for 30 minutes and dump them - you are NOT supposed to drip acclimate them...

As long as you send them any DOA's back, they'll credit you for them. You just have to provide the dead fish as proof so they don't get scammed by the scammers.

Jason - the shrimp are TINY little guys but ours found a happy spot in the tank right off the bat. And your goby is pretty sweet lookin' too.

yea those shrimp was really cool. Wished I would have ordered the shrimp/goby pair. But there's always next time.

im glad everyone else's order was good....maybe next time i'll get a fish and judge them on that....i only got 3 things (really just 2) so disregard the my first reply if it seems like i was mad....cause im not, but im not satisfied either

i had oredered some snails a few years back from a guy on here and when i got the snails there was no water so i was freaked since they were shipped priority mail which took 2 days to get to me but they all lived and the guy had told me they ship better like this and also you dont have the long drip aclimation to deal. he had also said it was better then having them soaking in the waste they produce in such a small amount of water.

As I understand the shipping without water has kind of become standard practice (for the above mentioned reasons). Does seem kind of weird at first though.

I always think it's weird ordering stuff on line because you don't get to see and pick particular specimens. Occasionally being disappointed is all part of that equation... and the price you pay for the lower price :) I hope anything that is looking a bit rough pulls through.

Yeah, shipping snails just damp is actually supposed to be better. A lot of snails are intertidal (I think that is the right term) and get exposed to air at low tide anyway. I ordered 40 astreas several years ago and they were shipped that way. Every one of them made it.

The blue chromis I got looks kinda ragged. His tail looks real tattered but he is a damsel so who knows. He went in a 55 QT with my buddies and my Coris wrass, gramma, a purple fire fish (missing part of his poky thing :() a big foxface who look great, a chalk basslet, a green clown goby and 1 barbershop goby. So that was a big fish order to say the least. 3 other people already picked up there fish and inverts also!

They got back to me about the green water AKA pods!
This is what they wrote:
"There are approximately 200 Copepods in each bag that will continue to multiply. Please hold the package up to light, stare at it for a few minutes, and you will see them running around"
Still, I am just use to pods from reed mariculture I guess. You know, ones you can see  They also said to just send the dead back in the normal mail and they would replace the ones who died within 7 days and money back the DOA's. Now one of the coris wrasses looks pretty bad also. He was stressing in the bag though and one coris is looking great.
3 coris were ordered and 2 were tiny and 1 was a jumbo dude! It was just weird that they sent them that way. Steve is lucky he had first dibbs since he picked up first  A huge difference in the sizes. But the small healthy one is awsome! Hope he doesn't take a likeing to shrimp like wrasses are prone to do!

my yellow wrasse is tryin' to eat my baby ceriths. He's awesome. The pygmy angel didnt make it. He looked pretty stressed, ragged fins and splotches. I went ahead and flushed it though. I'm not worried about it. I'm still satisfied...

Steve! You should have just mailed him in snail mail back to them! And put the order # on it! I will let them know! Hmmm, not looking so good for SWF.com this go! 2 dead angles 1 dead wrass (all but) and another almost dead chalk basslet. This si the 4th time I have gotten stuff from them and never had this problem or any for that matter. One fish was ugly and one starved to death thanks to me but no floaters!
Steve, do you have any shrimp in there with him? Maybe you should have taken the tiny one after all! The one healthy tiny one is cruising the tank looking for anything to eat though! Very neat but definetly a preditor! I am glad I kept all that copper rock now to give the fish some bio and hiding spots. I am testing 0 for copper now afer it was through many water changes in a 10 gallon bucket but I still wouldn't trust it in a reef. I actually found a pepermint shrimp I had lost from the 29 move hanging out in the 55 so I know inverts can live but still not worth the risk in a reef.

Yea, I didnt know. I thought it was only for DOA. I'm not worried about it...if they would cover, that would be nice, but it's no big deal. I have 3 peppermint shrimp. They always come out, and the wrasse hasnt really takin' a notice to them. I have seen him try to eat a few of the ceriths, but they might be a little too big. We'll see how it turns out.

Sorry to hear about the order I hope you all get replacements or credit I have had similar experiences with them but have heard others have good luck. I am going to order some more fish and stuff so I will try to let people know if they want anything.
