The Southwest Florida Marine Aquarium Society (SWFMAS) would like to invite all of you to come to our second annual Open House. This year’s event is Sunday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For those of you that attended last years event, we have restructured and relocated the event to make it a little more “user friendly”. The itinerary is listed below:

7 a.m. - Doors open for vendor set up
8 a.m. - Doors open to the public
9 a.m. to noon â€"œ speakers
Noon to 1 p.m. â€"œ lunch break
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. â€"œ raffle
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. â€"œ auction
5 p.m. tear down

Our speakers are:
James Fatherree â€"œ Topic, Lighting
Dr. Mac â€"œ Topic, Solomon Islands Aquaculture
Julian Sprung â€"œ Topic, Old Tank Syndrome

In order to speed up the auction, we have limited it to 150 corals, reserved for SWFMAS members only (anyone can buy). However, we are setting up tables for “coral vendors” to sell corals. There is no limit to how many corals these people can bring. There is not limit to which club (if any) they belong. We hope to have around a 1000 frags at this event between the vendors and auction. If you are interested in setting up a table, please preregister on our website or contact jeff@swfmas.com

Entry is free to all SWFMAS that have paid/renewed their dues before May 1. It is $5 for SWFMAS members that join after May 1. It is $5 for anyone that has a current membership to any Florida aquarium club. Entry will be $15 per person (12 and up) for all others.

Location is :
Riverside Community Center
3061 East Riverside Drive, Fort Myers FL

For more information on speakers, vendors, raffle items, auction, etc. please visit our website www.swfmas.com

Hope to see you all there!!

The Imaginarium in Fort Myers, 4 p.m.

About 4 miles west of I-75 on SR 82 (MLK blvd). Under the big blue water tank that has Imaginarium painted on the side. Can't miss it!

Good! As of today, we have 6 confirmed coral vendors (sales tables) with 2 maybes. We also have around 8-10 (exact list is at home, and I'm at work) manufacturers tables with 1 maybe.

In addition, we have around 90 preregistered auction corals. This does not include vendor corals (part of the table fee) and ORA stuff (they are sending a box). We expect around 125 to 150 total auction items.

Lastly, we are going to have around 150 to 200 raffle items.

So, between the sales tables, auction and raffle, everybody should be leaving with lots of stuff!

FYI, this is a BYOB event (Bring Your Own Box)

My bad, 7 coral vendors with 2 maybes. Confirmed to date:
