Overall it was a good experience, best part was talking to the speakers afterwards and picking their brains Lol. Scored some sweet corals from a few vendors and won a few things on the raffles which were pretty sweet. Big thanks to SWFMAS for putting on a successful event

Picked up from the raffle 50lbs. of man made rock, mummy eye chalice, 2 large slabs of frozen mysis shrimp, fuel coral food, goniopower coral food, fritz phosphate remover and some other coral food.

And now onto the pictures of the corals I picked up :).

Mummy eye chalice, was told 3g but don't know till it fully colors up.

+1 Thanks to SWFMAS for putting on the conference! I learned a lot from the speakers, enjoyed talking to vendors, and scooped up some nice stuff from the vendors and raffle. Really awesome job, SWFMAS! Thanks!! If I get to it, I'll try to post up some pics later...

While I enjoyed talking to many vendors and goggling over the corals and whatnot that they all had, I want to give a quick shout out to Gulf Coast Ecosystems (live-plants.com). I've ordered from them countless times in the past and always been pleased with their stuff. I credit their awesome macros and gorgonians for making my aquarium beautiful! The SWFMAS conference was the first time I got to see them in person, and I am really grateful to SWFMAS for that. It was a pleasure talking to Russ and getting to peruse the collection of macros and gorgonians that he brought with him. Great guy, great business, great products!
