Switched lights. Is coralline slowed by switch?

Is it normal for coralline to quit growing as quickly in your tank upon switching lights?

Switched from Kessils to ATIs and it seems as though the coraline in my tank has slowed drastically. Any ideas?

I use diapers with Alk and Ca and add mag weekly.

Different species of coralline perform differently under varying light conditions. Many of the softer colored lavender and pink varieties will suffer under too intense of a light, but the darker reds, maroon and purple colored varieties will thrive. It can take a few weeks for your colonies to adjust and resettle themselves, but you should notice growth rates similar to your previous ones once everything has adapted.
