switched plug for osmolator question

I just got a switched plug controller for the osmolator but both the water level controller and the switched plug controller have female sockets, am I missing something here? I assume the water level controller plugs into the switched plug controller. Thanks

Nevermind I figured it out, the "female connector" is actually a quick connect for bare wires. Glad no one had to explain it to me
